Ooops! Missed a day or two

Good Morning,
Sorry about forgetting to post. It's spring break and I set some goals for myself. I plan on cleaning all my cupboards out, cleaning out some closets and reading a book. These are extra from laundry and regular stuff. Today is a big trip to Costco. You guessed it I cleaned out a big cupboard already.

Todays card is pretty simple. It's base is white cardstock. I layered a lavendar and light blue on top. Then found this funkie pattern paper in my stash that kinda looks like waves. The fish is from Stampin Up. I colored it with colored pencils cut it out and put sponge stickies on it to raise it. I used my 1" circle punch and stamped the get well soon on it. I add 2 different sized pearls for bubbles.

If you notice all my cards are very simple. I love to use different types of background techniques. Most of the swaps call for at least 3 layers. I think most card making is all about how you use the image, not just the background. It does help to have a background match your image.

New card

Good Morning,
I'm back with my first card for the finished swap.

The image was sent my the gal hostessing the swap. The base for this card  is white, then layered with Terracotta (CTMH). The background is a technique called Bingo Splatter. The image was colored with markers from CTMH.The word Hello was spelled with some of my $1 bin stamps. Hope you enjoy this.
The technique is done by using bingo dobbers on glossy paper. The effect on regular cardstock is a little different.

Enjoy your day,
Bobbi

A second comeback

I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I've posted. Not sure where the time has gone. I'm still working at school, scrapping and stamping. I'm still adding to my collection of stamps, it's pretty scary. I've been doing some swaps. If I can get my scanner to cooperate I'll share some of the cards from the last swap.

Last October I was in a calendar swap. Where everyone did 12 pages of 1 month. The calendar I got back was truely beautiful. Had so much fun I'm doing it again this year. Can't share my page until December.

As you can tell I'm trying to get my page updated. I'm no longer with CTMH or doing the TIPS program. I miss CTMH but find I can still buy from the consultants if there is something I can't live with out.

See ya all later, happy stamping. Get inky.
